Adoption Forums is a support forum, a community where members can communicate with other members who have had or may have like experiences. It’s a place where people with similar interest in adoption can come and congregate and talk about adoption.

What Adoption Forums isn’t is a match making forum, its also not a fund raising forum. If you are here in hopes of matching with an expectant parent or hopeful adoptive parents, then I need to direct you to ParentProfiles.com. If your fundraising for your adoption or anyone else’s adoption, then you can put the URL on your profile (as has been explained time and time again) but you can not put URL’s that have fundraising or links to fundraising on them anywhere else on the forums.

Folks, these same rules have been in place and have been enforced for over two years. It doesn’t matter if you've had a link in your signature for years, if we catch that your link violates the rules, we’ll remove it, and when we remove it, we’ll tell you why. If, at that point, you elect to add it again, you’ll be banned.

Folks, the rules are simple, the forums are here for emotional support, not financial support and certainly not for matching. If you violate the rules, you stand the chance of becoming banned and when you’re banned, you’re no longer welcome to participate here any longer.

I really hate posting this, but I hate arguing over moderator decisions even more. All of the members of the moderating team enforce the rules for everyone equally. You may think I am a bitter power tripping birthmom, and that’s fine…just remember, if you weren’t breaking the rules to begin with, I wouldn’t have to moderate you at all.
