One of the best sources of info on adoption from India is the IChild Yahoo Group listserv.
But do remember that 5 years is a very long time from an adoption standpoint. Countries change their rules frequently. They even close and open regularly.
So do keep apprised of what's going on in India adoption, but recognize that, when you are actually ready to adopt, you may need to consider other options.
