A home study is really not complicated. It's more of an annoyance than anything. A counselor, phsycologist or someone the court appoints will set a time to come to your home and speak to you, your husband and your daughter. You will most likely have to fill out a packet of information about yourselves. The counselor will interview you all as a family and then individually. She will then do the same with the biological father. She or he will then give a report to the courts. It's a pretty small things to complete when it comes to your husband being your daughter's father for the rest of her life.
