I haven't come home yet, but, I think I know this one.
You do have to pay, but it's not a full ticket price. It's actually 10% of the full fare (though I've heard some people say they only paid 10% of the fare they had to pay, which is awesome!!)
Others who have traveled home with their cutie pies as lap children can elaborate I'm sure!!
