That's great to your husband was able to chat with her without the pbf. Sometimes people are more comfortable opening up without a bunch of other people around.
I think it's a good sign that her mom is very supportive of the plan. If p-bmom has seen firsthand what it's like to raise a child with little or no support, then she may have a realistic idea of what raising a child as a young, single woman will be like. When will you meet her mom?
Hang in there - nine weeks is not that long!
