Hello!

I've only been through one homestudy - but I do believe that they are all the same. They may ask you questions pertaining to the age of the child you are seeking, but mostly they want to know about your family, see your home (once I cleaned under the beds before the social worker came over...my hubby laughed at me), and know how you handle change and stress (yes, a baby or older child can disrupt the "flow" of your life!) Of course, every social worker has their way of doing things, but don't despair over this...you will get through it! They will separate you and your hubby for separate interviews as well. Unless you have something major in your life (illness, criminal record, ect.) I wouldn't worry about it...just something that must be done so that the social workers can feel confident placing a child in your home.

Blessings,
