Hello! I just accidentally stumbled across this forum and thought "how wonderful to be able to talk to other folks in KY." My husband and I have lived in KY forever and 2 years ago, we adopted our son from another state. We are now beginning to consider and research options for our 2nd adoption. Our first adoption was rather expensive, so as a result, we are considering an independent adoption. Can anyone give any info?? We live in Western KY and have made contact with an adoption facilitator at a local pregnancy crisis center. She recommended that we go to an attorney and bam!!! things would be on the move. But, I know it's just not going to be quite that simple. ANYthing would be helpful at this point!!
