We're in our fifth year of homeschooling, and we started foster care 16 months ago. We have two fs's that go to preschool, one will start kindergarten in the fall. We cannot homeschool foster children, unless we would get the permission of the judge. (Indiana) I do have a friend that fosters and homeschools and she had a fs that just had major difficulties in school and she did get permission to homeschool him. For us it's not a big issue because the fc are all several years younger than my bio. children. So they think it's normal to go to school and the older ones stay home.
