I am just at the stage of choosing an agency and was wondering if anyone could advise on the prospect of spending time in Guatemala while the process is underway. I happen to travel frequently to Guatemala and feel it makes sense to be there for extra time with the child while the adoption makes its way along. Also I have a dear Guatemalan friend in Antigua who might be willing to foster the child. Does anyone have info on this and/or know agencies who support it as an option?
