Adopting Foster Teen
My husband and I are thinking of adopting a teen (13-16) through the PA foster care system. We're open to a GLBT teen. I have a 17 year old son now in College and a background working with at-risk youth, including GLBT. Right now its just my husband and I & 3 dogs at home. We've got the room, but its a big step. All family, friends, church think its terrific and would support us. Is this a crazy idea?
