There really doesn't seem to be any 'central' place for this info - and I am sure it changes - but I am also sure I am not the only one that would like some type of basis for this.

SOOOOooooo If you have any of the information for adoption a child from another state - please share!

Please include as much info as possible and especially on:

State Adopted from

Can you call social workers direct in that state - or do you need to go through your social worker?

Costs associated from that state

Does the state reimburse your state (IE in PA if yours state homestudy is used for a child from another state there is a cost associated)

Did you travel to the other state to meet the child?

Transition visits?

Any other info that we should know?

I would really love to gather this for as many states as possible - and if we can get some responses I will try and get them posted in a one page spread sheet or something similar to make things easier
