So sorry..
Brina,
I'm so sorry for this. Have you shared with people
that you are adopting? I used to get this question
all of the time (even before TTC) and we used to
laugh at it. Of course, once we did ttc and nothing
was happening it was the worst thing. Especially
when all of my friends around me were getting
married and having beautiful babies. Then it
happened for us too and everyone was ecstatic
for us. Unfortunately our baby son passed
away 22 days after birth and it was horrible.
Most people know my story but sometimes when
somebody that doesn't know asks I gain
pleasure in telling them- "my baby died!"
My attitude has gotten better but in the
beginning I would get so upset and think-
it serves them right to look so shocked it's
none of their business to be asking anyway!!
Of course I realize that if I didn't have issues
I would be okay with their asking. It's like
when I see a pregnant lady and they are asking
her- when are you due?
I hope your baby joins your family real soon!
