Shots before travel... hep A...???????
Hi everyone,
Well, I called my dr. and she told me to call my county health dept. Well i did, and I can get a hep A shot for $30. She said it will help alot even if I travel in less than 2 weeks.
My question is.. I was in Guate about 6 weeks ago.. (I had no shot for this trip..). I am doubtful that I got exposed while there.. but you never know... Could I be doing damage if I get the first shot tomorrow (if I was exposed)????? Sorry about the dumb question.. sometimes I wish I was a nurse..since i know nothing about livers... lol
Also, is Hep A the only Hep shot i need????
