Well our situation was a little different. We had to pay a social worker to counsel and inform the birthmother of her rights. To be there when she signed the relinguishment papers and such. We had to pay for her travel expenses and time. I think it came out close to 1000, but not more. But that was her only job was dealing with our son's birthmother.
