SW Fee for independent domestic adoption

This is a strange situation we were working with an agency and choosen by a birthmother of whom we have a wonderful realationship with the due date is very close! A few days ago our agent or sw called and said she no longer was involved with the agency and that to complete the adoption we would have to go private so I immediately went to a lawyer paid the fee and got things started since she could deliver at any time. My question is this our social worker (agent) is still going to be their to take the relinquishement and guide us through the process. The fee will be discussed later. We have paid for the homestudy already and so that is taken care of what we would be paying for is the time she has invested in meeting with the birthmother setting up the appointments ect and further counseling if the birthmother and father were to need it. My lawyer gave me a ball park figure of around $2000 to $3000. I know we are not leagally required to pay for her work done under the agency but I do not want to be stingy and am happy to pay the $2000 yet I do not want to be taken advantage of either.
A side note this is the second time this social worker has changed agency etc on us. We are not able to continue with the agency because they have no one to take her place and the birthparents are fine with the change to indpendent I just do not want to pay an unreasonable amount out of guilt or a sense of loyalty to our agent. Please let me know your experience for reasonable fees so that I have a guide when we discuss what to pay.

Thank You
