I just found out recently that Hastings corporate has found adoption not to be a worthy cause. They have pulled all adoption magazines off of the floor and do not intend on replacing them. Also, they hardly ever have any adoption books in, even the adoption for dummies is never in. I talked to our book specialist and this is the information she told me. I think it is sick that they will continue to sell girlie mags but have removed adoption mags even after I wrote corporate and asked they put more out. Please grab some of their comment cards and let them know that the adoption community is alive and well and that we like to read too.
