I'm glad you brought up about extended family. It is VERY important. I would not be doing this if not for the support of my family and friends. They've been great. One of the stereotypes of single adoptive parents is that we are career-driven yuppies who dont really have time for a kid, but are being chased down by our biological clocks. NOT TRUE!
In short, you didnt need to apologize. One of the great things about this group is that we disagree and we still get along. Thanks! : )
