I admit they were awesome and very open about how they manage as single parents. Almost all of them worked out of the home. All had supportative extended family. They were far more intelligent than your average person, as a group. The kids were basically doing just as well as any older adopted kids who spent time in foster care. Nobody seemed suicidal or ready to give up due to not having a spouse to help...hehe. My hat goes off to this special group of people who opeend their hearts to difficult children

A few adopted kids from India who turned out to have rather severe medical problems, yet they were coping and doing so well.
I guess I have to cook a Crow Pie and have it for dinner (grin).
I have a new sense of renewed support for single parents. After all, what the kids need most is love and dedication

Just felt a need to right my wrong (this all happened last night). I actually didnt' realize it, but I had gone to a group of ONLY single adoptive parents. I was the only one who was married. So keep up the good work!!!!
