Is this legal?

I am a foster mother, I have 3 kids in my home a son who was a fc in whom we have since adopted, and a fd in whom we are in the process of adopting, and My niece who was put in a foster home in Januray due to sexal abuse by step dad.

My niece's cw is different than any I have dealt with before. She has been threating to pull my niece because I said that she was medicaly negected and was having hearing loss do to scaring in her ears from untreated ear infections (Dr. told me at her appt.) Well the word medical neg. she said was a false statement and she could remove her from my home, and by also saying that I have a attuide about her mom that is damaging my niece. I was very defensive I said it loosly but I do have poof that she is 8 never been to a denist and has a cavity in her perment teeth that she has had for less than a year, and can prove the untreated ear infections. And her mother and I have always gotton along even threw really hard times, and I would never speak ill of her in front of her child or even if there was a risk that he would hear it.

Anyways at todays visit in front of her mom the cw ask my niece if my husband or my 4yr fd do seceret touching to her. My niece told her no! and if they where she wouldnt have to be asked that she would tell.

Now I was under the impression that a child avocate center are the ones who have to ask direct questions like that and they need to be video taped. I could be wrong but if somone knows more about this please let me know. We have nothing to hide so they can ask her anything, i just found it odd.

Also she is from another county that is where the case is, and thank god we have a wonderful cps here and they have been bending over backwards to help me with this cw.
