We adopted two children at once and both posts above were correct for us. Our agency's fee was less than half for the 2nd child, but everything else was double. Between the discounted agency fee, the savings in travel (picked them up together) and only one homestudy and postplacement visit, we saved approximately $7,500 to $10,000 on our 2nd child.
