You are right about LDSFS. They are very difficult to deal with. The $50.00 is actually for non-identifying information. The mutual consent registry is free. I sent $50.00 in almost 6 months ago and still nothing! It is very frustrating. I just have to try and not think about it most days, other wise it makes me crazy! Good luck in all your searches!
