I, too, take antidepressants and am in the process of adopting domestically through foster care. The fact that I'm on medication didn't make a bit of difference. As a matter of fact the worker that did our homestudy made the comment that it showed I reached out for help when I felt I needed it.

I'm not sure if adopting domestically appeals to you or not but I don't think your "medical condition" would be an issue.
