I can really only answer from the adoption point of view since I've never received donor eggs. Adoption is awesome! It definitely is a roller coaster ride as there is no due date as you wait to be matched. There are many things to consider on your adoption journey, for example, which type of adoption, what your family can handle (physical, mental, developmental delays), drug exposure, what race you are open to, ect.

I have three biological children and one adopted daughter. It was an amazing experience - still is. She is such a blessing to our family.
