I had a lady staying with me and I was helping her while she was PG. She was was a friend of mine. Well, she has a total of 6 children 8,5,4,3,2 and 5 months. She is 24 and has been on drugs for YEARS. Her 8yr old lives with her grandma and the 5,4 and 3 are in state custody the 2 yr old is living with another friend of hers and the 5 month old lives with mom. So I was there the moment this baby came into the world I took care of her from birth...baby tested positive for Cocaine at birth and the county I live in would not remove baby cause they do not have the funds. So when baby was born she ws placed in ICU with a collapsed lung and under weight, she stayed there for 14 days and she came home with me and mom. Mom was out messing around with men 3 DAYS !!! after giving birth..........I took care of ALLLLL of baby nad moms needs. Then I found out mom had sex with 2 15 yr old boys and a 17 yr old. So I comfronted her about it and she started a fight. She moved out that day. And I have yet to see baby since. I know she moved to a differant county so I called that county and reported all that I knew and before they could investigate she moved again.thats 5 homes since baby was born 9/13/04. And baby is suppose to go to high-risk doctor due to the drugs and her birth weight mom is not taking her. So i called the new county that mom lives in and reported her there also.......I havent heard anything yet........But what i want to know is there anything else I can do to get this baby back in my home???? I took her to all of her doctor app. and got up with her every 3 hours when she came home. Me and baby was VERY attached !!!! So what else can I do...........I still have all of her baby clothes, formula, and her crib is still sitting just like it was when mom took off......I miss her so much.......PLEASE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP PLEASE EMAIL ME OR SOMETHING. I live in anderson county Tennessee and I am a foster parent already.I don't have any kids right now. Our house burned so we are renting till we can rebuild (no insurance) So I have put fostering off for awhile, but Autumn is differant she really needs some help right now......I love her as if she was my own. Please someone help me.
