Hemangioma
Hi:
Our son has a large Hemangioma on the back of his theigh. It is about the size of small orange. We were not made aware of it until when I went to change my first diaper in the orphanage.
Our doctor has told us it will all but disappear by the time he is five. It has been a 15 months since we came home and is it gradually fading.
Port wine stains are normally flat. Hemangioma's are raised and almost look like small blood filled blisters. I don't know about the eye connection but did see a specal on Hemangioma's on the Discovery station. I bet if you go on their website you can get more information. There is a doctor in NY that specializes in them. I am sure you can email him for more information.
