I don't know what they could do legally. I do know when we adopted, we put up our right hand and swore on the Bible that we would love and care for our new baby just as we do our bio kids. We also have our Wills, a legal document, that provides financially for the children irregardless of whether they are bio or adopted. Parents get angry. They may be mad, frustrated, and even disappointed witht he actions of their children...but they still LOVE them with a love you cannot fully comprehend till you are a parent yourself. They took an oath, went to all the trouble and expense of adopting you...they did this to make it "official"...to show the world they love you and that you are THEIRS...you are part of their family and to bond you together legally...they probably also did it to help you feel secure in their love and commitment. They love you. They may be unset at you for whatever it is you did, but they will not abandon you. You are their child. They are your parents. You will get past this the way all parents and children do...communication and some time. With time, you will feel safe and as you communicate, you will know...and they will continue to prove to you that they love you and you are their child...completely and totally their beloved child.
