You have brought back so many memories for me. We provided regular respite for a sibling group, brother and sister, whom we also fell in love with. They had been in their foster home for 2 1/2 years but that family was not interested in adopting them. We tried so hard to get them but in the end they were placed with another family that they did not know. We were told &Iguote "If they can bond to you they can bond with someone else".....my answer than why did they cry whenever they left to go back with their foster family (nothing against the other foster family, we are actually friends). We have not seen them now in over 6 months and it has been very hard
I just pray that they are with a great family that loves them as much as we did.
