In WW week 1 booklet there are guidelines on how to estimate measuring using your hand, so if it's too big a pain to weigh and measure, that's a good guideline.

Also, WW sells great serving spoons that hold a cup or half a cup (assuming you don't let whatever you're serving mound over the top!).

Mostly in Indian dishes, you can just stir fry the stuff in butter flavored cooking spray (yeah, it's not as yummy but the seasoning is what makes Indian cooking so good). Weight Watchers cookbook Take Out Tonight has some really good Indian style dishes.

BTW, when we were in India picking up DD I LOST weight--came home at 107. I actually thought I looked too thin. I ate, but I kept getting full after a couple of bites--probably nerves combined with eating rich food. Everything was soooo good.
