with you being in two different states, an interstate compact would be involved I believe. Can she deliver in the state you live in? Also, with regard to taking the baby home from the hopsital, it depends. I was able to take Jayden home from the hospital (with the permission of the biological parents) before they relinquished all rights as in the state of Arizona, they have to legally wait three days to do so.
