DH and I have finished the mounds of paperwork, finished MAPP classes at the end of October, They are the best classes, We have finally gotten our Foster/adopt license this past saturday so now we are just waiting for that phone to ring. Hi!! I'm a little nervous about the whole process. I'm surprised it took that long to get your license. What county are you in?
I've been told the need for foster parents in my county is so dire that the moment the ink dries on the license we'll probably get calls!
I'm nervous about having a child in my home and then going thru reunification. I know I give all my heart to these children in need so it may feel like my heart is being ripped out! BUT I'm always going to keep fresh in my mind reunification is the the number one goal so hopefully I'll be more prepared mentally.
