[GCS]

We got back from trip 2 on Sunday with our 3 year old boy and our 5 month old girl from Vladivostok. Sam has a chronic teeth condition that we knew about when we accepted his referral on trip one, but has had a flare up with an infection so we've had a pretty rough week with him getting him on an antibiotic and bringing him into a specialist. He will be going in for an operation on Dec 7th. We're glad to have it scheduled so soon so he can get better and we can have our happy little boy back!

The baby, Sophia, is doing really well. She's gained 4 pounds since we saw her trip one - most of which I am sure she's gained these past 2 weeks with us. They both had their first pediatric check ups yesterday and got great results (despite his bad teeth).

11 long months of waiting and we're home!!
