there is a thread that we as a group started not too long ago....i believe the title is 'are you ready to adopt a special needs child'
be forwarned, it is very bleak, but if you keep reading other posts, it does get into the positives and tips on how to parent these kids.
the intent of the thread was for new people who were looking at adopting older children (not infant)....
anyway, its just a suggestion, the thread is long, but i feel worth the time to read if you are seriously looking into adopting a non-infant.
again, it is very bleak at the beginning, but keep reading, there was alot of good information people had.
