my brother and i were both put up for adoption as infants, he is just over a year older than i am and we have never met. almost 3 months ago i found his information on a website online and contacted the search agency that he was listed under (worldwide tracers.com). they told me they would contact him and give him my information and to call back in 2 weeks if i haddnt heard anything. 4 hours later i spoke to my brother, the first biological relitve ive ever known. he called me from his cell phone in central park in new york where he had been sitting the last 3 hours absorbing the new information that he had a sister. as the younger child i always knew about him, but no one ever told him he had a sister. we have talked almost every day since then and he is currently on a greyhound bus from manhatten to little rock arkansas where we were both born and i was raised.
at 5:30 tonight we are going to meet and see each other for the very first time. im nervous and excited to be spending the holidays (and my birthday) with my brother.

i want to say thank you to everyone who has been here for me in this community the past few months. you all have been wonderfull.
