If I may, I would suggest starting the adoption process when YOU BOTH feel ready--not when someone else thinks you may be ready. The process can take a very long time. Some people even wait years. I believe that God has perfect timing. When you start the process and walk through the doors you need to, God isn't going to give you more than you can handle. Hopefully the process of adoption will be something that will strengthen your marrige even more with your dh. It can definately be a growing experience. Best of everything to you and your family.
