Most people, if they so desire, will use an IA doc (a pediatrician specializing in International adoption) to review the child's records and request additional testing if necessary. From what I understand most IA docs will work with quick turnaround times and you can fax/email them while you are in Russia.

Our agency tests for HIV, Hep B and C, Syphilis and TB. They also arrange for the child to be brought to the Euromed clinic (westerna clinic in St. Petersburg) to be seen by a physician who will do a developmental and physical exam and we get that report as well.
