I have been reading this site now for almost two years!

I have wanted to adopt since I was 12 years old. I am now 42. My husband has three grown daughters. His comprise was that he wanted to make sure that he had the energy to parent. He is in his mid fifties.

We have just about completed the paperwork to become foster parents; I so would like to have a child during the holidays. (I know, after the holidays, they are still there.) I am ready to become a mommy.
