That is too bad, but I am not giving up yet. I am looking for my niece who was put up for adoption by the birth mother. Your birthdate could be close, but I do not know the exact date my niece was born. My brother was the biological father, and he died in 1980. When I contacted Edna Gladney, I was told that the child had looked into her records a couple of years ago, but there had not been any inquiries at the time. The lady I spoke with said that she did not have a contact number for her, so I don't know if that means my niece signed up or what. When you register, what are you suppose to do?

My brother was 19, and I am pretty sure his girlfriend was a senior in high school. That does not mean that she could not have been 16, but my brother had dark blonde hair, almost brown. Did Edna Gladney give you any other information, like what city your biological parents lived, etc?
