Tennessee State Adoption
I don't think it really matters if you stay home, or work. I quit my job last June in order to be home when we adopt. I also have other children who were in daycare/pre-school, and they are very well adjusted, good students, and self-confident. I think that the case workers are so overloaded, that they sometimes don't have enough time to look at everyone that is interested. I have looked on line at other states waiting children and submitted homestudies, and the process is just as slow, they get hundreds of inquiries on each child posted. I guess we just keep our chins up, keep praying, and hope that the right child is waiting for us, and that when the time comes, we'll have them in our families. I am glad to see someone from Tennessee in here, I thought I was alone.
