Please, if you choose to decline this referral, do so without guilt! Adoptive parents tend to think that by declining a referral they are depriving the child of a home. As Nikki (in another thread!)pointed out, nothing could be further from the truth.
I went through the pain of declining TWO (pretty severe) special needs referrals, and felt horrible. I later found out BOTH had been accepted elsewhere, within weeks.
