We adopted from Ukraine last April and we were fortunate enough to get a 20 month old little girl. I would suggest bringing diapers because she was not drinking all day in the orphanage like she was with us. They are only allowed drinks with meals and that's it. They have them sooo scheduled that they can potty train them so young but Ashley was still using it in the diapers I brought, loose stools and all. I stressed way to much over trying to keep her "potty trained" while I was there. I should have just stuck the diaper on her and trained her later when she was ready. She would cry every time I put her on the potty. She would do her business but it stressed us both out since the hotel potties are much bigger than what she was used to doing.
As far as bottles or sippy cups that really up to you. They drink out of little cups with no lids so they are used to it. I brought bottles and she drank really well out of it so it's really up to you. She is almost 3 and I stopped giving her a bottle about 4 to 5 months ago. You can PM if you have any other questions. When are you guys travelling to Ukraine? Good luck and God Bless you!!
