I am sorry it has taken me SO long to reply to you all. I can check this site easier at work, but I can't reply. Anyway...about the 2's they are busy and sassy at times at our house.
My little one is from Bulgaria and has been home almost 7 months now. She is also trying to learn to speak English. Rosemary, did they (physician) want your daughter evaluated for speech therapy? We are in the process of all this right now. They have said she is at about 24 months with speech. (Gee, I wonder why?) Did your daughter have speech therapy or has she just suddenly taken off just from being home? Does she go to daycare? They are telling me she needs to be at daycare more so she can be with the other kids that speak English and also for the structure it provides. She goes to daycare the days I work. We are probably changing daycares due to wanting more structure, etc. If you have tried to get into a daycare around here you know it is no small feat! Anyway...I would love to hear from you all.
