Just wanted to say that it also seems to be harder the second time around. I think the knowledge of knowing how precious raising a child is makes it seem more difficult. Also, we are all moms now...this is our "profession" so there aren't a whole lot of things that keep our minds off of being a parent and having a baby

. Before I had a career that didn't involve building a family ect...so at least I had to think about other things during the day. Now I just meditate on it day and night

. Also, I know how fast the process could go and how long it could take. I think that adds to the anxiety. Whereas the first time around I was kind of clueless as to how the whole adoption thing worked and how long it would take. Anyway....I empathize and agree with all or your statements.
