HI, My name is Mary, I adopted my son from Romania in 1999. As I was about to leave with him we were told that he is actually Hungarian but was born in Romania, in Satu Mare just across the Hungarian border.

I notice that most Romanians and Roma's from the area he was born have dark hair and eyes.

My son has almost black hair and very green eyes.... One of the Romanian people at the hotel told me that was Charactaristic of Hungarians..have you all found this to be true? If so, there probably is merit that he is of Hungarian descent, if that is the case then I will be collecting iformation on both countries traditions etc.

Just a curious question.
