Hugger, as an adoptee, that would probably be one of the nicest presents that you could give when you reunite. It would provide us with a real connection to the biological family, especially with those who have passed away.

I have thought about doing the same thing in reverse in case I am lucky enough to find my first mom. I now wish that I had been more of a picture taking person. Unfortunately my amom passed away 26 years ago and the stuff that was in her house and not thrown out, was taken by my sister who lived there. She has emailed me a few scanned pictures but not a lot and I have begged her to go through the boxes that she says she still has and send me anything that she can find, especially if there are any documents pertaining to my adoption.

Actually being able to see who you resemble when you find your biological family is a real bonus.
