Trina,
I have gotten no more info. I coulnd't tell you if my adoption was private or through an agency. I am still trying to fit the peices together from conversations, however vague they were, over the years. Like I said it is a very hard and nearly impossible subject to broach with my a/parents.
I did grow up in Europe. Funny to think a girl born in Spokane speaks with an English accent. My life really has been so wonderful b/c of the oppertunites I was given due to my adoption. I have only just recently moved to the States. I did spend some time in Seattle though when I was a teenager.
One of my closest friends is adopted, and after years of not knowing anything of her heritidge, her mother dropped the bomb on her a few days ago that she is American Indian mix. It was such a shock for her to have out of the blue at the age of thirty. What an amazing thing to find out.
The main reason for my own search is to find those details and to know my medical history. Like anyone who doesn't know.
I did try to register with the Irrs, but my printer is broken, so I can't send the application in. Did you have any luck with them?
Hope you are having a nice time away!! Speak to you soon.
Sara
