In reply to your post I am not sure what my original name is/was. I have never been able to access such records. I do have a letter my bmom sent to my adoptive family and it has a name blacked out. It seems to me that the first letter is a "J" but I am not possitive. I am not getting my hopes up, but if it sounds familiar great. My date of signed adoption is at teh end of July 1977, date to be held for now. Hope to talk to you later.
