I've heard of birthmoms saying they were raised by a single mom and felt okay with placing their baby with a single mom, but for me, it was not an option. I wanted my child to have two parents.
Of course, you never know - a birthmom might be flipping through Dear Birthmother letters and a single mom might catch her eye because there's something about that woman in particular.
I would certainly include mention of your strong support network, close family, etc. in your conversations with birthmoms.
