At the time of my daughter’s placement, I was already a single mom, and I was totally open to a single male or female parenting her, but was never presented with that opportunity.
Every birthmother has their own idea of what they want. Is it likely to be a longer wait for a domestic placement? Maybe…I think if you got your name out there, did some networking on your own, and set up a profile on line you would have no problem finding a match.
