This question is asked a lot! The most common answer that I have seen is because if a birthmom wanted their child to only have one parent, they would have just raised their child. (That would be my reason for not choosing a single parent, too). Most birthmothers are looking for a loving two parent home that they arent able to give the child...
Im sure others will ring in, too!! (And Im sure you will get some support from some single adoptive parents!!! Each birthmother is different and there ARE someout there who dont mind a single mom -- IT all depends on the match!)
