I don't think anyone is saying that just because you adopt that you don't deserve a shopwer.. we know of a couple that was having a baby and they threw there OWN shower!!!! (becasuse know onw was thorowing one for them)..
So.. its not just a-parents that don't get showers.. sometimes people just don't know whats appropriate or who should throw the shower..
My husband and I talked about this last night and also agreed that we would likely have an "open house" for people to meet our new little one..
